Climate Witness Challenge

Engineers for a Sustainable World, with the generous support of partners Hewlett-Packard and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), was proud to offer an opportunity for ESW student members to share a story or project addressing global sustainability and climate change.

During the first stage of the nationwide competition, student members from across the U.S. were invited to submit concept papers describing climate change stories they would like to tell using HP technology. During the second phase of the competition, finalist teams submitted their videos for judging.

The winning submission, Green My Ride, was created by a team from the ESW chapter at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. The team consisted of NU students Aaron Greco, Ren Chung Yu, William Fan, Shehla Arif, Kendra Davis, Ritu Gopal and faculty advisor Randall Snurr. The Northwestern University ESW Chapter will receive a check for $2,500 to support chapter events, activities and projects. Congratulations!
